Hi, Melissa! We're probably cousins, so it's good to hear from you.No, no one has answered yet.I think anyone who would know the answer is dead, but I'm still trying.Irene Mohr (sister of my maternal grandmother Lucille Mohr)was a daughter of Isaac Mohr (disowned by his family) who was a son of Phillip Mohr who was a son of Friedrich Mohr, the first of my Mohr ancestors to settle in Rush County in the 1880s.If your father/his family in Rush County has any knowledge of the Isaac Mohr family, why he was disowned, and Irene Mohr's tragic death/place of burial, letting me know would be deeply appreciated.
We don't have a death date for Irene, but we believe it was December 1922 or early 1923, and we have no idea where she's buried. It could be Topeka or Kansas City or Rush County. Not much to go on, but I'll never know what can be found out if I don't try. Thanks for your interest.
Best,
Sara
