I have been working on a project about emmigration from the village of Moos in Baden. Lydia Dilzer-Fischer (1858-1935) was a daughter of John Dilzer (1832-1901) who was born in Moos. John was one of at least eight children of Josef Dilzer (1807-1865) of Moos and his wife Ottilie Ehinger of nearby Balzhofen. All eight Dilzer children plus their widowed mother eventually made their way to Illinois (mostly to Peoria).
