Yes I have some information on the Haungs family.
The question is which Mathias Haungs are you looking for?
Mathias Haungs, born 1833 in Moos to parents Ignatz Haungs and Katherina Dilzer, came to America in about 1846 and was possibly in Peoria. I believe he is in the 1860 census of Peoria living/working for a related Xavier Haungs from Moos. I have no 'sightings' for him after that census.
Mathias Haungs, born 1831 to parents Ignatz Haungs (a different Ignatz) and Birgitta Back came to America in 1853. He married Ursula Keller (possibly in Rochester New York) and they had one son Benedict before the story gets fuzzy and he and Benedict eventually end up in Illinois.
Rochester and Peoria received a fair number of Moos emigrants.
