Lionel A. Moisan, 73, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 15, 2014 at home. Born in Sherbrook, Quebec, Canada on August 29, 1941, he was the son of the late Henri and Marie (Lord) Moisan. He is survived by his wife Kathleen (Fitzgerald) Moisan, his three step-children Sherrie Saglimbeni, Raymond Riendeau and Robert Riendeau and wife Denise Riendeau, his grandchildren Philip and Amanda Saglimbeni and Renee Riendeau, his brothers and sisters Eda Letourheau, Theresa Lepage, Gisele Moisan, Denise Moisan, Leo Moisan and Marcel Moisan, all of Canada, his nephew Dennis Letourneau and his wife Gheslaine along with Jerry Moisan and his many other nieces and nephews. Lionel was predeceased by siblings, Roger, Louise, Juliette, Guy and Andre. A memorial service will be held Friday, September 19, 2014 at 11:00 AM at St. Paul Episcopal Church, 145 Main St., Southington. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association , 5 Brookside Dr., Wallingford, CT 06492. O'Brien Funeral Home will be assisting the family with arrangements.
