It is fruitless to check in Sweden without the needed information in the U.S. You haven't answered my census questions so I assume you have not yet seen that information.

Is this your family? (Do the children match?)

(I have added a bit in parentheses at times to the transcriptions found on the Ancestry.com site. You need to examine the actual censues records to get more information.)

1930 U.S. Federal Census:

Name: Jacob Monson

Age: 49
Estimated Birth Year: abt 1881

Spouse's Name: Riegena

Household Members: Name Age

Jacob Monson 49 (immigrated 1900; naturalized; born in Norway)
Riegena Monson 52(immigrated 1885; born in Sweden about 1878)

1920 U.S. Federal Census:

Name: John Moseson (immigrated 1900; naturalized 1902, which makes no sense since they had to be in the U.S. for at least five years before naturalizaton.)
[John Monson]
Home in 1920: Rudolph, Wood, Wisconsin
Age: 38 years
Estimated Birth Year: abt 1882 Birthplace: Norway

Spouse's Name: Jenney
Father's Birth Place: Norway
Mother's Birth Place: Norway
Marital Status: Married
Race: White
Sex: Male
Home owned: Own
Year of Immigration: 1900

Household Members: Name Age

John Moseson 38(This census was actually taken in January, so ages should be subtracted from 1919 to get a year of birth, unless the person was born in January. 1919-1882 = born about 1881.)

Jenney Moseson 40(immigrated in an illegible year which looks almost like 1907; naturalized 1902 but she was naturalized automatically because of her husband's naturalization, probably. Born in Sweden.) 1919-40 = born about 1879.)

George Moseson 14 (born in Minnesota. 1919-14 = born about 1905.)

Liolet Moseson 7(Looks like Violet on the actual census. Born in Wisconsin. 1919 - 7 = born about 1912.)

Norman Moseson 5(born in Wisconsin. 1919 - 5 = born about 1914.)

Pauline Moseson 3 8/12(3 years and 8 months old in January 1920, so born about August/September 1916. Born in Wisconsin.)

Melvin Moseson 2 11/12(2 and ?/12 years old. I can't read the number of months, which might be 11 but I'm not sure.He must have been born in 1917.

Andrey Thoreton 77Reena C Thoreton 67

Those parents appear to be the parents of your Regina. George seems to be the boy living with your Jacob and Regina in 1920-1930. If Anna was a widow, why was her last name the same? The enumerator may have goofed.

Now where are Regina and Jacob? You will have to search for them or convince someone else to search for them.

1900 U.S. Federal Census:

Name: Andrew Torston
[Ander Torston]
Home in 1900: Rudolph, Wood, Wisconsin
Age: 67
Birth Date: Mar 1833
Birthplace: Sweden
Race: White
Ethnicity: American
Gender: Male
Immigration Year: 1881
Relationship to head-of-house: Head
Father's Birthplace: Sweden
Mother's Birthplace: Sweden
Spouse's Name: Jenny
Marriage Year: 1868(This is approximate and is based on the number of years married.)
Marital Status: Married
Years Married: 32
Residence : Rudolph Town, Wood, Wisconsin

Household Members: Name Age

Andrew Torston 67
Jenny Torston 5

Source Citation: Year: 1900; Census Place: Rudolph, Wood, Wisconsin; Roll: T623_1825 Page: 1B; Enumeration District: 156.

Name: Jenny Torston
Home in 1900: Rudolph, Wood, Wisconsin
Age: 5 (The actual census says she was 56. Five is ridiculous.)
Birth Date: Nov 1844
Birthplace: Sweden
Race: White
Ethnicity: American
Gender: Female
Immigration Year: 1881 (1881 makes sense since she had been in the U.S. for 19 years.)
[1888] (I don't think the date looks at all like 1888, and the number of years in the U.S. doesn't match.)
Relationship to head-of-house: Wife
Father's Birthplace: Sweden
Mother's Birthplace: Sweden
Mother: number of living children: 7
Mother: How many children: 10
Spouse's Name: Andrew
Marriage Year: 1868(This is approximate.)
Marital Status: Married
Years Married: 32

Again, you will need to search for Jacob and Regina in the census, but it could be that Jacob arrived too late to be enumerated in 1900.

Maybe the parents of your Regina went to this church. The Swenson Center has these records on microfilm.

HIST = congregational history, MINS = meeting minutes, MEMB = membership records, M/A = ministerial acts (baptisms, confirmations, marriages, funerals, etc.)

STATE COUNTY CITY NAME OF CONGREGATION D F FILM # REEL# NOTES

WI WOOD SIGEL BETHANY LUTHERAN CHURCH L 1897 S-21 5 MINS1892-1931;MEMB1898-1968

I am guessing from the ages of the children that your Jacob and Regina did not marry until after 1900, which means it could be much harder to find them separately. You still have not provided TOWNS where they might have lived. States are not enough with such common names. I can guess but I'm a stranger. Your guesses should be better than mine.

Do you have any idea at all where George was living when he was born? I know the census says Minnesota, but do you know what town or towns are likely?

World War I Draft Registrations:

(There is more information on the actual registration than has been transcribed by Ancestry.com.)

Name: Jacob Munson
County: Wood
State: Wisconsin
Birth Date: 7 Feb 1881
Race: White
Roll: 1675082

Among other things, this says he lives at Rt. 2, Grand Rapids, Wood County, Wisconsin. He was self-employed as a farmer. His wife was Jennie Munson. He applied 15 September? 1915. There is a physical description. I can't read all the headings but he had gray eyes and dark hair (or perhaps the reverse) and he was tall.
