Re: Israel Moore, Bollinger Co., MO
Knob lick is less than 15 miles from Doe Run.
Doe Run, when I lived there, was small and just about everyone was related to me. The Moores included. However, I left the area in 1966 and have not kept in contact with friends or relatives. We live about 3 hours away and have not been back for a long time. Now that I am starting my Braddy search, I plan to go back for information. If I find any Moore residents, would you like any specific information?
As I stated before, Cynthia which lived in the rural area on my grandmothers property was called Aunt Cynthia Moore. She always smoked a pipe, wore a bonnet, got her water from a nearby spring, cooked and heated the small cabin with a wood burning stove. She was a very tiny lady and very quite.
I am going to contact my Aunt Bernice Pearl (Green) Braddy,
Allen. She will know about Cynthia if you want to know more?

He mentions the name Bennett. I remember going to Bennetts store in Doe Run.
