Robert, Thanks for the Aldrich-Richardson information.I find it interesting and I'm not even related (guess that makes up for relatives who have no interest). On the "Other" messageboard, late 99, was corresponding with a Terri who was interested in Rayford Albert Stroble. But after a few messages never heard from him/her again. On this message board under Strobel, there is a 23 Aug 2001 message from a Lovell W. ALDRICH asking about a Walter Hatch Strobel, you know this Aldrich? Not sure who the Daniel/David Stroble who married Frances Riley belonged to. Do know their son, Allen Daniel Strobel b. 1847 married Elizabeth Shuler, dau. of Irvin Shuler & Rebecca Hearn. Did find out that the Rileys in Hampton County do come from the Orangeburg Riley family. Some of Maxine's Chisholm relatives have a Riley line. Maxine's Owens line: Thomas Owens = Frances Kersh Thomas Owens = Unknown James Owens b. 1780's = 2nd Sarah Anderson b.ca. 1800 Greenbury Cuthbert Owens b. 1837 = lst, Rebecca Ann Ginn b. 1839 Louisa Virginia Owens 1868-1952 = Lucius Bellinger Rast 1851-1916 Myrtle Blanche Rast 1908-1986 = lst, Frank Lee Odis Lance 1899-1967 Maxine Lance b.1939 = 2nd, me b. 1940
Brother of the above James Owens, Curtis Owens. married Phereby Green b. 1790, sister of your Absalom Abraham Green. One of Maxine's Ginn/Chisholm cousins 20 miles north of here has a Nix line also. Ferdinand Merdrick Ginn b. 1855 Hampton Co. married Carrie Nix of Hampton Co.
