Morgan's in AR & CA

I’m working on my husband’s genealogy on his father’s side.His father name was Larry Benjamin Morgan.Larry’s parents were Melvin Morgan and Ruby Lee Shackelford.Larry had two brothers: Gary and Alan and one sister:Angelia.I’m trying to find the basics right now like who Melvin and Ruby’s parents were.I’ve found a few hopefuls in the census records, but I’m just not sure.I do have the marriage record for Melvin and Ruby as September 23, 1946 in Woodruff, Arkansas.They were at the time residence of Tupelo, Jackson, Arkansas.My husband believes that his grandfather Melvin is still alive, but doesn’t know how to contact him.

Also Larry Benjamin Morgan lived in California for a while and apparently had another family and was married and divorced.Any information on that would be appreciated by my husband and his sisters.

Any information on any of this would be extremely helpful to me on creating my husbands’ family tree.
