Our John MORGAN Coreb Aug.16,1835, Brown Co, OH, son of George Core & Eliza Elizabeth Soper. George Core born 1812 in NJ or possibly OH, son of John Core & Ellen (believed to be MORGAN.) John Core died in the War of 1812, & Ellen moved her 2 infant sons to OH with her parents- presumably MORGANS (family story.)
Looking for Ellen's MORGAN parents, probably in New Jersey BEFORE 1812 as the Core's from there, later in OH. There are Enoch Morgans near them in Clermont & Brown Co OH while they're there, & descendants named Enoch. George & Eliza Core moved to Richland Co,Wisconsin just after 1860.
