Re: John Morris 1730-1789, James City cty. VA.

I am looking for a Joseph C Morris, born abt 1826.I first find him in Sumner Co., Tn where he gets married to Elizabeth Tuttle.Most of the Morris' in Sumner Co are from Va or WVa or NC.I have no idea who is parents are.I can trace Joseph until 1870 census of Saline Co., Illinois. After that I lose him, but can trace my line through his oldest son (my direct line). Does this Joseph fit into any of your research?Thanks for your time.
