William Morton 170-1807 North Carolina

Looking for any information about William Morton from North Carolina born about 1760 died about 1807 . He served in the American Revolution under a Captain Thomas Evans from 1782 for 18 months in either the 4th or 10th NC regiment. He had a son Edward T. Morton born about 1804. looking for wife, parents etc.
