connie here are the directionsto the moulder homeplaces and cemetary.go to exit 160 of interstate 85 whiuch is where hiway 51 intersects abt 4 miles southeast of carnesville georgia.cross under 85 and enter the petro gas station parking lot.at the northeast corner of that parking lot there is a small road called sandy lane.this road parallels the interstate and at one time was known as the j. r. bond road.in past times it crossed indian creek and joined thomas lane but the bridge is now out.the first homeplace is on the left of the road atop the first hill you come to.the only sturcture still standing is an old chicken house which still has the roosting ladder.you will know you are at the right place if you look east across interstate 85 you will be directly across from a rest area. you will have gone abt 1/2 mile from beginning of sandy lane.continue down sandy lane another 3/4 miles and you will find second home place. you cant miss this one because house and barn still stand.now here is where it gets tricky.just beyond the barn there is a metal gate.as you pass thru the gate go maybe 50 to 100 yards and there will be an entrance to a large pasture. the road continues on and paralllels the nw side of the fieldto the third homeplace which is very difficult to describe. it sits to the north of the roadabout 1/4 mile from indian creek.it is the closest to the graveyard of the three.now the graveyard is amongst about twenty large oak trees right in the middle of the field.you should be able to see these trees from the gap into the field but if you can't follow the fence to your leftuntil you see the wooded spot in the field.
