Scottish Mulfords-1880-2001-Dundee, Scot

Dear Mulfords everywhere,
We got electricity here last month (!!) and now E-Mail. I would love to swop what I know or find out what I don't. For example, I have spoken in the past to David C and to Don. I have a fair amount of background on the family and the Scottish links through my grandfather, Mark, a Londoner who married Florence Eugenie Dowling, daughter of a Dublin cabinet-maker. Their son, also Mark, was my father, a Royal Navy Petty Officer who married Anna Smith,my mother, in Portsmouth,England. They settled in Scotland where four of their six children, including me -the youngest -was born.
I want to know everything. Can anyone,please - despite the sensitivities I know many of you share -tell me more of PFC Alan Craig Mulford USMC who died in the service of his country in Vietnam? Love to hear from you. Best wishes
