Mulford-Hand connection?

Some time ago, I posted messages here and elsewhere looking for the parents of Elizabeth Hand, the wife of Abraham Yonker, who was born about 1801 in Cape May, N.J.They appear to have been David and Mary Hand, and I expect that Mary may have been a Mulford (the names Mulford and Howell appear among her children, and Mulford in subsequent generations).Does anybody know of a Mulford who married a David Hand (or whose son was David Hand) shortly before 1801?Thus far, the only David Hands I have found are too early, or in New York.The names Smith and West might also be connected.
