Hi Michael,
Unfortunately that is all the info I have on Maria (from Rosie's D.C.)I have been told that the girls came to Australia because they were by then orphans.The only other clue is that her brother George Beckwith was in the British Army during W.W.1 and met Rosie's brother-in-law George Cook (from Portland, Vic, Aust.)in the trenches in France.
