Hi Naomi,
I'm sorry that I can't help at this stage.We don't know anything about Maria only that she married Thomas Beckwith.Her son George William I have just found was born at Bow, London & died in France during WW1.That's the only new info I have.

I have been told that Maria & Thomas were dead by the time their daughters came to Victoria abt 1907.I haven't discovered anything else as yet.
