Hello:My name is Bruce Mulford.I saw your post about Amelia Link on the genealogy.com forum. She was my father's mother.Dad was George Oscar Mulford, son of George Washington Mulford and Amelia Link.I am one of four children of George Oscar Mulford and Marie Carlidge.George Washington and Amelia are buried in a cemetery in the southeast part of Salem.I'm not sure of the name of the cemetery but I pass by it on my way out to hunt below Hancock's Bridge. If my memory is correct you take 45 into Salem, turn left onto 49 heading east out of town.Turn left at the big gas station/food mart.I believe the road is Salem-Hancock's Bridge Road. The cemetery is a short distance down on the left.I have not been into the cemetery in several years but their graves are towards the back, beyond the driveway that parallels the road, and somewhere around the middle of the cemetery.
Feel free to contact me at [email protected] live in Cherry Hill, NJ.
There is a historic site in Easthampton Long Island that we did not find out about until after my father passed away.I went there with my mother and she could pick out the Mulford faces in the various pictures on display.See http://www.easthampton.com/history/mulford.htmlhttp://www.easthampton.com/history/mulford.html
