Emma Mulford was the child of John Collins Mulford and Ocie Morgan.I have some info that Emma was originally from Shelby County, Ohio, so that sounds about right.(She and parents definitely from Ohio.)Would greatly appreciate any info you have re either Ocie Morgan and/or John Collins Mulford.

Emma married Charles O. Hurlburt and thus is in the Hurlburt genealogy famously posted on the web.Her descendants are all listed there.(Charles is descended from Laban Hurlburt, and before that, of course, back to the original Thomas.)Emma was my great-grandmother.Charles and Emma lived in southwest Iowa for a time, then moved on to Eugene, Oregon, where Curtis Hurlburt (his brother) and Charles opened up a general store.Charles died young in the 1890s.Emma returned to Shenandoah, Iowa, where she married a Crane.She had three children, Nellie (my grandmother), Jesse and Mayrilla.She is buried in Shenandoah, Iowa.
