Elizabeth 'Betsey' Mulford Crane- Passaic Valley, New Jersey

Hello~ I have a couple of questions: 1. Does anyone know of any primary source citation for the marriage of John Crane & Elizabeth 'Betsey' Mulford Crane? I'm working on my Mayflower Society application and they accept this marriage as 'probable' but would like further verification if I can find it. Perhaps someone knows of a family bible or something like that? I am aware of her diary that is owned by Rutgers University, but am hoping perhaps someone knows of a bible or other resource?
2. Their daughter Harriet is my 5th great-grandmother, but I can find no primary source documentation of her birth, marriage or death and hoped someone might have a suggestion. I understand she married my grandfather, Samuel Goodrich Benedict in New Jersey, but can find no solid verification. This is mentioned in the Passaic Valley book and in the Genealogy of Benedicts in America, but neither book has citations. Any advice would be gratefully accepted.
