I am trying to research the Munger Family and the connection to the Covert Family. How far back have you gone on the Munger's? A 1790 Fishkill census record shows my Sylvanus Covert between Benjamin Munger and John Munger.
I have an unconfirmed wife for Sylvanus as Deborah Munger. I know his wife was Deborah, she died after 1850 Hamden, Delaware Co. NY (last census for her) but until recently her maiden name was unknown. A Benjamin Monger/Munger was listed in the Rombout Patent of Fishkill, Dutchess County 1773-1775, & 1777. John Covert was listed in the Fishkill, Rombout Patent 1765-1775,1766, 1777, 1779. He may have been Sylvanus' father, but I am not sure. Sylvanus mother was Jemima Smith, daughter of Abraham & Margaret Smith.
