You have the wrong name for the man born in 1691 - he was John Murdoch, not Bartlett.John had a son Bartlett b. 1729.Bartlett1 had a son Bartlett, b. 1751, and also a son Elisha b. 1765.This Bartlett2 may have been the one who had a blast furnace for the War of 1812.
John2, the one you called Bartlett, was born in 1691, and died in 1756.Bartlett1 died in 1795.
I descend from a brother of Bartlett1, so have no more. But, there was a "Murdock Genealogy", "Robert Murdock of Roxbury", compiled by Joseph Murdock, 1925, C. E. Goodspeed & co.Robert was not related, but John Murdo is also covered in the book.
Also, Carver was formed from Plympton about 1790, so earlier records would be at Plympton.
