Re: Sam Murray-Iowa Territory- 1838. From NY

There was a Patrick Murraywho arrived in New York from Belfast aboard the Betsy on Sept 22, 1803. He was my GGG Grandfather,and he had a son Samuel who at one point lived in Troy, and settled in Iowa Territory in the 1830s. Patrick's was named Anna (the ship records say Sarah, but I believe this was an error).
I suspect we are talking about the same family. I have more information about these folks but I am rather rushed at the moment, and will try to get back to you at a later date.
