Actually one of the Cox men was a partner in Raccoon Mills in Orange County, Va. with Alexander Musgrove, I have the records from 1812. Yes, they were Quakers at that time, but also some of the family became Methodists, actually ministers. My line goes Alexander, Robert Elisha, James Vincent, Robert Hancock, James Alexander to me. Mary Morris, George Morris' daughter, and the sister of Dabney Morris, was Alexander's wife, my Gt Gt Gt Grandfather. I have wondered about the Cox relationship to the family. I have some other records from MD and they indicate a relationship existed in PA and in DC with the Bass and Dabney lines to the Morris family. Jeni
