Roberta, when I spotted your note, my first reaction was that you and I must share the same MYERS line, but I don't find any Eliza Myers b 1858 Spirit Lake, Iowa, in my database. Since she died so relatively recently, have you sent for her death certificate? I would guess it states who her parents are.
I have my Myers line back to the early 1800's in Hunterdon County, NJ, moving on to Illinois, and then to Spirit Lake, Iowa.
I have a lot of info to share, if we can make the connection. Elizabeth is a common name in my Myers family.
Would love to find out you are a cousin. Let me know, please, what you have found out on her death certificate.
