I am also searching for knowledge of an elusive Myers Family.It seems there where alot of them in IL at this time.My gggrandfather was a William Burt Myers b. 18-Sept-1865.His parents are listed as William Myres and Eliza Sciland.My ggrandfather, Omer Alfred Myers was born in Edgar IL.Maybe Eleazar and William where siblings?Let me know?
