Samuel Myers (1831-1897)?>IA>KS

Searching for any info regarding the parents and origins of Samuel MYERS, b. 1831, d.
1897, buried in Westmoreland City Cemetery. He married Charlotte N. Lane (b.1831) in 1854 in Benton Co., IA. Samuel served in the Iowa 8th regiment during the Civil War. Sometime after 1874, he moved his family to Pottawatomie Co., KS.Charlotte moved to Oklahoma sometime after 1899 with her daughter and son-in-law, Lilly and George Kirby.

I'm trying to connect Samuel with Joseph MYERS (b. 1806 NC; d. 1894 Pottawatomie Co., KS; buried Westmoreland City Cemetery), who supposedly fathered 17 children, according to his obit. He married Eleanor Mann in 1825 and she died in 1846. He then married Sarah Ware in 1853 and she survived him. So, if anyone has a list of
Joseph's children (especially the ones by his first wife), I'd really appreciate seeing it.

If anyone has any info on the above, I'd love to hear from you. I'm willing to share whatever info I have.
