I found an old letter wriiten in 1978 from a woman in Preston Co., WV that mentions Alpheus Myers, also known as "Pate". He and his wife Molly Teets are buried at East View Cemetery. He had a second wife Isa or Icie Collins."Pate"'s children: Elva (m. Ribblet), Lydia (m. McKinney), Bertha, Martha (m. Perry), Mary (m. Dillow), Encie, Floyd (m. Ida Fields), Ernest, Lorus, John. - - - - Alpheus "Pate" Myers brothers and sisters: Wilbur (medical doctor in Uniontown), Lucy (m. William Jeffries), Salem (m. Harold Cunningham), Nannie (m. George Reckhart, Ora (m. Herbert Miller), Pearl, Lester, and John.This information came from a woman whose handwriting appears elderly in a letter written to a cousin of mine.
