I do need your help" I first found my 'Phillip Myers age55,in Wabash County, Indiana in 1840. My Greatgrandparents" Benjamin Oakley& Mary A. Myers married therein 1842 The census says they were from Pa, Phillip Myers Married his Cousin Margaret in Pa, most of their children were born there, They didnt stay in Wabash County, Indiana, they moved on to Barry County, Mo They were on the 1850-70 census in that County. Also close by in 1850was Solomon Myers age 53 from Pa. Then GrandPa heard that Calif was the land of milk and honey , he up and moved the family out there, Only the ones that had married in Missouri stayed behind, "Son Conrad was in the Confederate Army under Gen Price.
"Phillip Myers was in the war of 1812 in Capt. Wallacves Co. GrandPa Phillip Myers died the following year "1876" in Calif, One of his grandaughters in Calif wrote a story about them, She said Phillips parents were German, they went to Holland and on to the US, When I started this i started with nothing, and I really need some help, I never realized there was so many Myers.
