Re: George E. Myers died in accident in ID 1898

My name is Steve Phillips and my great grandmother was Edith Ethel Myers Phillips. She was the daughter of George E. Myers and Dora Belle Garrean. George E. Myers and Dora Belle Garrean were married December 4, 1888 in Cass County, Nebraska. They did have eight children; Charley Oliver, George Israel, Roy Lee, Sarah Mae, Gertrude Lily, Edith Ethel, Ray and Bert Orval. George E. Myers worked for a freight company that traveled by wagon between Washington and Idaho. He was killed in a freak accident when the wagon he was operating rolled over on him on July 8, 1898. He was buried in Grangeville, Idaho, but the cemetery that he was buried in was turned into a swimming pool in the 1950's, so you can't find his grave. George E. Myers was born in Crawford County, Wisconsin in 1864 to George W. Myers and Sarah Beasley. I hope this helps! Please contact me if you need more information.
