I am tracing my roots now and it is interesting that your relative Nancy Kerlin has the same middle name as my father, Jack Kerlin Myers.My now deceased uncle Herauld R. Myers' records do not show a Jacob Myers in our tree in the 1700's marrying Nancy.Good luck!
