Mary Nardi of Duarte, California

I'm searching for any information about a Mary Nardi of Duarte California.In 1959 she was listed as the next of kin as an ex-wife on my grandfather coroner's report.She chose the funeral home and took possession of his belongings.I would like to know more about her and how she met/knew him.He left my grandmother in 1941 or 1942 and was never heard from again.
