Subj: Removal of cem24 Database from WorldConnect on RootsWeb Date: 07/10/2002 12:19:17 PM Central Daylight Time From: email@example.com (Brian Hansen) To: firstname.lastname@example.org CC: email@example.com, Edwin,
I'm the product manager responsible for the WorldConnect Project on RootsWeb. After speaking at length with Sue Broz and reviewing content as well as e-mail she sent you on June 25th, June 26th, June 27th, and also in July it seems clear that you are in violation of the RootsWeb Acceptable Use Policy (which you may review at http://www.rootsweb.com/rootsweb/aup.htmlhttp://www.rootsweb.com/rootsweb/aup.html ) which includes the following:
Post only material you own. When you post to RootsWeb.com, you must either be the copyright holder (that basically means you wrote it), have written permission from the copyright holder, or the material must clearly be in the public domain.
Consequently, we have removed the cem24 database from WorldConnect in accordance with the Acceptable Use Policy which also states: RootsWeb.com may refuse service. RootsWeb.com may revoke the violator's right to use part or all of the RootsWeb.com site for violations of this agreement, or other policies posted on the RootsWeb.com or MyFamily.com, Inc. websites.
Feel free to contact me directly if you have any questions or concerns. Sincerely, Brian Hansen 801-705-7092
