I believe my great grandfather's name was Grundy and he did, indeed, marry his sister in law after his first wife's death.I know my grandfather's name was Jackson Carl Needham and his sister was Jessie.I think there was a brother named Arther and one named William.My grandmother Maggie Suggmarried Jack and William married a woman named Gertrude.I don't know her maiden name.There is a fairly large settlement of Needhams in Trussville, AL.Jessie lived next door to my grandmother when she died.I know Jessie was married to Sam Carruba and there is a massive Carruba family out there.I'd be thrilled to talk to anyone who knows more.Maybe we can compare notes and put together an impressive tree.I'd especially like to learn more about pre-Grundy Needhams.
