This does make sense.I am researching Neelys, Bishops, and Dicksons who were all Scots-Irish, immigrating to the Colonies and living in Pennsylvania for a time, then migrating on down to South Carolina.They all intermarried.They were also Patriots in SC during the Revolutionary War.
