Re: Samuel Neely
Yes it does help. Problem is two 1st cousins arrived same time , Thomas as you know arrived in Pa, his cousin arrived in NY, and two of his sons moved to Augusta VA. and none of us has been able to track the others sons. Neely's are all my line Pa,Va,NC,SC and into the middle valley (Nashville) in the 1790's. There is a number of Neely lines, and all of us are having problems tracing them all back, these families were not afraid to move around. Many of my own Neely line settled in York Co,SC.
A Mike Dickson is also the Claimed ancestor of Gen.Joe Dickson, this Dickson Line is a Pa to NC to TN with family in SC.Bishop's are also in the my research families neighborhoods .The families do have a trait of continouis inter marriages with allies of early past. We more then like do have research incommon.
