I saw your message and I was just wondering if this family tree looks familiar to you?It's quite possible that Eliza could have actually been Elizabeth C.I have no idea when Eliza or Patrick was born, but I assumed it was probably Tennesse.

In 1848 Patrick Neil and wife Eliza C. (maiden name unknown) and dau. Mary Frances Neil and
son James Polk Neil left Knoxville Tn by boat to Texas. The family ended up in Hale Co., TX.
Many of them are still there today.

Army. He served until the closing campaign in Northern Virginia under Gen. Rob. E. Lee.
From James Polk Neil, my line continues from Ida Victoria Neil and W.W. Edmonson. W.W.
Edmonson is the namesake for Edmonson TX located in Hale Co., TX.
