Alexander Neill m. Anne Cathey Moore

Last believable names/dates I have are George Cathey Neill-b. 1796 Farmington, Bedford, TN, d 1845, m. 1823 in TN to Elizabeth Harriet Erwin-b. 1799 Rowan, NC, d. 1877-Henderson, TX
I have his parents as Alexander Neill (maybe 1772) and Anne Cathey Moore (maybe 1776)
But, I have found Alexander Neill b. 1758 (9th child of William Neill & Mary Polly Clinton who married Anna Moore b. 1757 or 1762.I have not found a record of this couple's children, if any.
Is my Alexander Neill the son of William Neill/Mary Polly Clinton?
Is Anne Cathey Moore same as Anna Moore?
Or, am I looking at wrong root?
Could there be two Alexander Neills who married a Moore?
