NEKREWS & OWENS in Pembrokeshire
I'm primarily researching the OWENS family of the Hubberston and Hakim area in Pembrokeshire, though they do have connections to Swansea.
Elizabeth OWENS was born about 1841 in Hubberston. She was a daughter of Jane THOMAS and William OWENS. She married a Thomas NEKREWS of Swansea. I've also seen his name spelled NECRUSE, NECREUS & NECREWS. Thomas was born in Swansea about 1840, and I believe he was a son of a Thomas NEKREWS and grandson of a William NEKREWS.
Thomas (the son) worked as a steward on a ship and boarded with the Owens' in Pembrokeshire before marrying Elizabeth. Elizabeth and Thomas' children include: Sarah Jane (b. 1865), William Henry (b. 1867), Caroline (b. 1869), Thomas John (b. 1870), Arthur (b. 1874), and Frederick (b. 1879). All of the children were born in Hubberston.
Would like to make contact/trade info with others researching this family.
Regards, Gregg
