Virginia & Sara Lene Nellums

I have a picture of these two young girls (assumed to be sisters) taken some time in the 1920s. They were visiting relatives in NC. They are with a lady that could betheir grandmother named Mary- she looks too old to be their mother.Mary(no last name)is labled as "Aunt Mary from California". NC relatives had roots in TN.Does anyone have ANY idea who these people are??Please post if you know.Thank you!!
