17th c. Lancashire records- Newsham to Sherburne of Ribleton
Crossposted from the Newsom genealogy page:
I was poking around looking for old Newsom information and stumbled upon this deed listed at the UK National Archives. It is listed as residing at the Lancashire Record Office; does anyone have access to the full record?

There was a John Sherburne of Ribleton who was the son of Thomas Sherburne of Stonyhurst and Jane Townley. This John of Ribleton is the brother of the Richard Sherburne of Stonyhurst who m. Matilda Bold. Some Newsom researchers show Robert Newsom/Newsham's wife Elizabeth Sherburne as the daughter of Richard and Matilda (although I have not seen any evidence that he had a daughter named Elizabeth).
