Mr. & Mrs. Jasper NEWTON celebrated their twenty-fith wedding anniversary, Sunday, Oct. 8, at their home southwest of Toronto.About fifty friends and relatives gathered with well filled baskets about 12 o'clock, and proceeded to serve up a most sumptuous dinner.An exceedingly good time was enjoyed by all present.The guests presented Mr. & Mrs. Newton with a handsome set of silver knovise and forks as a small token of the high esteem in which they are held.Those present were:Mr. and Mrs. William BUSH and family, Mr. and Mrs. E.R. WESTBROOK and family, Mr. & Mrs. Wesley REED and daughter Thelma, Mr. and Mrs. Coleman HOOKER, Mr. and Mrs. Henry STORR and son Orville, Mr. and Mrs. TAYLOR, Mr. and Mrs. Joe NEWTON and family, Mr. and Mrs. James MARTIN and son Howard, Mr. and Mrs. Ira THACKER, Mr. and Mrs. John HOOPER and daughter Opal, Mrs. Finley ANDERSON, Robert HIGHFIELD and sister Miss Malinda, Errette THACKER, Pearl MARTIN, Leanord MARTIN, Mr. and Mrs. G.O.
