At the request of John Brown the follow Deed was Enrolled September the seventh 1723.
This Indenture made twenty eight day of August one thousand seven hundred and twenty three between Simon Nicholls of Prince Georges County in province of Maryland planter of one part and John Brown of the province and County aforesaid planter of the other part.
Witness that the said Simon Nicholls for and in consideration of the sum of three thousand five hundred pounds of tobacco to him in hand paid...........bargained and sold unto John Brown all that piece or parcel of land called Simons Lott lying and being in Prince Georges County being......Eastern branch of Potomack River.......land was formerly surveyed for James Cullins.... 170 acres of land more or less.
