I saw your posting on Genforum from last Dec. asking for information on Wm. J. L. Nicodemus.I researched him in some detail about 20 years ago and have written a fairly long article on him.You can see the article and trace his ancestry at my web site:
This ancestery is also supported by Ivan Nicodemus' book Nicodemus in America.Have you seen that?Wm. J. L. is my 3rd cousin 5 times removed. If you have Nicodemus ancestors you are almost certainly related as 95% of all Nicodemus in America are descended from Johann Adam Nicodemus b. 31 Oct 1705 in Medenbach, Nassau (now in the German state of Hessen). He and his 5 sons came to Pennsylvania in the mid-1700s.I've been to Medenbach three times. There is still one Nicodemus living there. There are several Nicodemus families in the nearby and much larger city of Herborn.
If you have Please let me know if you have any questions.
