Sorry this has taken so long to reply.I was gone for several months and missed your reply to my query and just recently returned to the Nolting Forum and saw your message.I just recieved from Zion church the old records of the Nolting family.Christian Friedrich Nolting was born December 10 1864, Baptized Jan 8, 1865 and died Jun 16, 1941. He is burried Zion church Cemetery. His parents were Christian Nolting and Louise Mewer married August 10, 1856 at the Zion Church. He is listed as Christian and later took on Henry. Henry Christianwas first married to Christine.She died June 22, 1856 and is burried in the Zion Cemetery. Christine born March 5 1854 parents were Henry Christian and Christine Nolting.She is mentioned in Louise'd Will as step-daughter, but Henry born 1850 Prussia is names as son, don't understand that one! Christine Nolting d. 1856 must have been married before and that is were Anton Kock comes in.Zion church has no records for Anton Kock.I found a land transaction for Anton and his wife, Annie, dated 1882, Hancock Co and my great Grandmother Maria and Fred Wickers. I have not found out any other information on Anton.The secretary of the church stated that the spelling was written the way they thought it was spelled, I've been trying to figure out the spelling of Mewer.There are no other Mewer's in the Census or buried in the Zion Cemetery.There are Meier's and maybe there is a relationship there.On Christian Nolting's marriage application to Ann Hoff, he listed his mother's maiden name as Mevert.This is close to Mewer.There is no information pertaining to Mevert in the old records.
