Jennifer,

I was just entering my line back from Sophie Moreau [email protected] who married Pierre Pitre Lajambe and lived in Brasher NY. Her parents were given to me as Jean Baptiste Moreau and Angelique Hebert, but as I started going through the records in PRDH, I see that the name was really Jean Baptiste Noro/Noreau b. 1772-07-13 in Quebec and Marie Angelique Hebert.

Have you done this line and can we compare notes? I can see that Sophie Moreau/Noro/ Noreau had brothers Francois Xavier NOREAU b. 1797-09-10 (St. Constant, civil archives) and Jean Baptiste NOREAU (who died at age 4 months 1796-16-06) and sister Marie Madeleine MOREAU b 1799-03-01 (civil archives St. Constant).

I am puzzled on the next generation back, Jean Baptiste NORO m Anne Francoise Marie LELOUVEL (m before 1771-07-31). I cannot see any records for Anne Francoise Marie other than her death1821-01-01 and burial 1821-01-03 L'Acadie.

I am interested in knowing more about this line. I believe that my Sophie Moreau is buried in Brasher NY.
