NOTES about the 3 known children of Moses and R.V. :
1) I have scoured the 1850 census every way I can think of but cannot find Moses in 1850 or 1860 (I found his wife and son Hardy in 1860) and have no clue who his parents are. If I had to guess I would say he was from Marengo Co, AL ???
2) Son Hardaway "Hardy" W. and his children used the surname spelling NUNNALLEE. He married Margaret Hammonds and they had children Beauregard Warren, Rebecca Vashti, and Hardy Horton. I cannot be positive that Hardaway's middle initial was "W" as on the 1860 census but researchers call him "Hardy H. Sr" which could be an error because his son was Hardy Horton and they just assumed.....
WWI draft reg 02 Jun 1917 Houston, Harris Co, Tx
"Hardy Horton Nunnallee, wm age 23 of Houston, TX + born 21 May 1897 Arcadia, MS + single + supports mother + signed Hardy Nunnallee"
1930 E. Baton Rouge Parish LA/Baton Rouge/HH 206-228/pg 31b (11 Apr 1930)
Gill, Thomas S /HH/wm age 45 PA/Ire/Eng + married age 25
GILL, Vashti R /wife/wf age 38 MS/Mo/IL + married age 19
Gill, Thomas S Jr /son/wm age 17 OK/Pa/Ms + single
Gill, Vashti M /dtr/wf age 12 OK/Pa/Ms
NUNNALLEE, Margaret /Mom-in-law/wf age 58 IL/IL/ILA + widow + married age 19
NUNNALLEE, Hardy H /Bro-in-law/wm age 34 IL/Mo/IL + single
I have not found oldest son Hardaway on any census after 1870 and am certain he died before his sons registered for the WWI draft as they both said they supported their mother.I really really really need to find them in 1900 !!!!
3) I have not been able to find youngest son Florence in 1880 and presume he probably died as a child.
4) Daughter Isabelle's only child died unmarried and had no children.
5) It is possible Moses and Vashti had other children after the 1880 census but I have not been able to find either of them or their son Hardy in 1900 so I simply do not know.
There were no siblings living with daughter Isabelle 1900.
I have tried to present this information in chronological sequence so please read and/or copy carefully.
I hope this information will help someone's brick wall,
