Adopted from Topeka Children's Home in Topeka, KS. Lena Mildred born 10 Aug 1910 in KS and Charlotte born approx 1912. Removed from their mother approx May 31, 1918 because of alcoholism. Charlotte adopted first and then Lena in Nov 1919. Lena adopted by a Mary E Gregory of Morris County, KS and then taken in by a Viola Miller of Cloud County, KS. in 1923. Father may have been a Charles or Clarence Nye. May be a variation in the girl's names ie: Mildred Lena, Mildred Marie, etc.
