Portraits of Dr. Jacob Haller & Priscilla Nye Haller, Wythe Co., VA.

The Autumn/Winter 2011 issue of ANTIQUES AND FINE ART magazine on p. 90 pictures two pencil portraits in an advertisement of Dr. Jacob Haller (1796-1877) and his wife Priscilla Nye Haller (1805-1871) of Wythe County, Virginia.

These portraits should be made known to the Haller & Nye families. I am scanning them in case any of the descendants might like a copy by email. Someone in the families ought to have them--they are too good and rare to be missed by the families. They may not have extensive genealogy value, but they certainly do have a whole lot of family and historic value.
