Seeking information about Mary Nyhan born tipperary May 20th 1888 lived at Emly
Seeking information about grandparent Mary Nyhan who was born in Emly(?) Tipperary, Ireland May 20th 1888.she lived with her family (father Timothy) and 9 siblings at the MountMorres estate (de Mont Morency) in Emly. Her mother/grandmother was a MountMorres (lady?) we understand. Her cousin was Sir Michael O'Dwyer she told us.
She married Ernest Hewett (British soldier) about 1905 in UK and he died in 1922.She married Henry Wareham in 1924 and lived in Berkshire UK.Does anyone know of the link to Mountmorres (de Montmorency) and O'Dwyer as it is impossible to find information about Mary before coming to the UK.she never saw her family or returned to Ireland after marriages. Her mother/grandmother was disowned by the Mountmorres's when marrying out of her class (chauffeur or groom) from the estate!! Doing a family tree and need to find her siblings, parents and other relatives or links to them.Mary was educated on the MountMorres estate and lived there - her father was a groom or coachman we think. She had 8 brothers and a sister.Ernest Hewett was an orphan and may be from Derbyshire. He was in the Sherwood Forrester Regiment then Royal Flying Corps (Mary joined the Women's R.F,C) and then he was PE/Carpentry master at Eagle House Prep School, Crowthorne Berkshire. They owned the Duke's Head Public house in 1922-23 in Sandhurst, Berks.
until he died.If anyone can assist me I would be grateful.
