I have an IGIfrom the LDS church showing a Laban Jordan married Mary Ann Scott on 1 November 1809 in VA.Then a Laban Jordan married Mary Ann Oast in 1814.I'm not 100% sure this is the same Laban, but suspect it is since the name is unusual."My" Laban is brother to Francis Jordan, and the Laban who married Mary Ann Oast is Francis' brother.
I also have a copy of a DAR application giving Ann Eliza Conway Jordan as daughter of Laban Jordan.Of course it says her mother is Mary Ann Oast which doesn't make sense if Ann was born in 1810 and Laban and Ms. Oast married in 1814.
However, I do suspect a relationship since Laban and Mary Ann are buried with Ann and her husband John Green. (They Passed This Way, Vol II, Maury County TN Death Records)
Let me know if you want copies of what I have.
